Based on your profile, I feel that we are kindred spirits, although my field is languages rather than IT.
I'm sure that you're a busy guy, so I'll cut to the chase. I live in Brazil, spend at least 10 h/day in front of the 'puter, would like to watch a little TV sometimes to relax, don't have/want a TV and don't want to pay the crappy local cable service any more than they already get from me for my broadband connection. Can you suggest a service or software that would allow me to watch online? There are so many, and I don't know which can be trusted. I would gladly pay for the service, but I'm afraid that some of these sites are just mining credit card #s.
